Terms of Service

v-ball.net records and publishes volleyball schedules, live scoring, box scores, statistics, and rankings for school and club programs. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Rules & Youth Safety guidelines.

• You must be 13 or older to create an account.
• Coach, official, referee, and event-organizer accounts are reviewed and approved before they can manage teams, games, or stats. Register with your real name and your real school, club, or state — impersonating a coach or official is grounds for immediate removal.
• You are responsible for keeping your password private and for what happens under your account. Tell us right away at support@v-ball.net if you believe your account was compromised.

• Enter only accurate scores and statistics. Falsified or inflated stats may be flagged, corrected, or removed, and repeat offenders lose access.
• No harassment, bullying, or targeting of athletes, officials, or opponents anywhere on the service.
• No scraping of athlete data, no attempts to bypass access controls, and no automated abuse of public endpoints.

Where a school, conference, or association uses v-ball.net as its record of competition, published results may be corrected only through the review workflow — a contested stat is resolved by an authorized official or administrator and the change is recorded. We may correct obvious clerical errors ourselves.

• Rosters, schedules, results, and statistics belong to the schools, clubs, and associations that create them. We host and display that data to operate the service and hand it back — in standard export formats — whenever the owner asks.
• You grant us the license needed to store, display, and process the content you submit, solely to run the service.
• If a school or association ends its relationship with us, we export its data on request and then delete it, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Core stat-keeping and public results are free to schools, clubs, and associations. The service is supported by contextual sponsorships and optional premium features. Ads are never targeted using student data, and paid features never gate a program's access to its own record.

• The service is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it accurate and available — including offline-tolerant scoring — but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free data.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (zero for free accounts).

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Questions: support@v-ball.net.
